We walked to the orphanage yesterday through small communities along a dusty road, passing cows of every kind, goats and children playing soccer in an empty piece of ground. The volunteers at MamaBaby Haiti had made a children's garden and we came to see it and plan for the future. There are 14 children and the operator is trying to become licensed. We are planning a once a week movie night for the children there and in the villages. We hope to show nature movies where the words don't matter. We had some delicious popcorn cooked outside on the charcoal fire where emost of the cooking is done. We only have electricity a few hours a day and will use the back up battery for the film nights.
